Welcome to The Holding Space
The Holding Space is a peer-led support group offered by Fernweh Wellness, designed for healing professionals, caregivers, and space holders of all kinds. It’s a confidential, compassionate space to connect with others who understand the emotional and energetic demands of your work. Together, we share, reflect, and support one another through the highs and lows of holding space for others.

This is not traditional clinical supervision. There is no hierarchy, no evaluation, and no pressure to perform. Instead, it’s a circle of equals—where your voice, your experience, and your humanity are honoured.

The Holding Space is rooted in the belief that therapists, caregivers, and healing professionals deserve the same care, compassion, and safety that they so often provide to others. Psychological safety isn’t a luxury in this work—it’s a necessity.
In this peer-led circle, you are not evaluated, analyzed, or expected to perform. Instead, you are welcomed exactly as you are—burned out, inspired, uncertain, steady, or somewhere in between.
We prioritize psychological safety by honouring each voice, respecting boundaries, and fostering a culture of non-judgment. There is no hierarchy here—only mutual care and shared humanity. You can bring your questions, your stories, your stuck points, and your grief. You can be quiet. You can be raw. You can be real.
This is not supervision. It’s not therapy. It’s a space to exhale and be held by others who understand.
In The Holding Space, Psychological Safety Means:
Confidentiality is sacred. What’s shared here stays here.
You are never “on.” There’s no pressure to have the right words or answers.
Your boundaries are respected. Share as much—or as little—as feels right.
We listen, not fix. Advice is offered gently, and only when invited.
We lead together. There is no “expert in the room,” only collective wisdom.
Your humanness is welcome. Emotions, uncertainties, and silence have space here.
