Hi, I’m Cady (she/her) 👋
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), a mother, and a creative. I know what it is like to feel changed by parenthood, to feel unhinged by trauma and attachment histories that impact your relationships, and to sit with the grief of feeling lost in self-identity.
Whether you are a new parent struggling with big emotions, recently bereaved and feeling lost in the waves of grief, or struggling with a trauma history that impacts your current relationships, I’m here for you.
What it’s like to work with me…
Relational safety and nervous system stabilization are top priority.
Unconditional positive regard, acceptance, and non-judgement–where being a messy human is.
Collaborative sessions tailored to your needs.
I believe…
We are all doing the best we can, given the resources, skills, and nervous systems we have.
Grief is multifaceted and occurs throughout life, not just when a loved one dies.
Making space for client lived experience is paramount. I am LBGTQIA2S+ affirming and I aim to be culturally considerate and anti-oppressive in my practice.
I know what it’s like to feel like you’re not enough. My goal is to create a space where you can feel like you matter and that it’s okay to explore the messiness of being human.
My Approach
-
I draw on a mix of therapeutic tools to support your nervous system, lived experience, and preferences.
Neuroscience + Somatics
Attachment Theory
- Parts Work
Grief Therapy
Systemic Therapy
Person-Centred Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Feedback-Informed Treatment
I am trauma-informed, LGBTQIA2S+ affirming, and anti-oppressive. I honour your worldview and lived experience, your nervous system, and acknowledge how the social determinants of health impact your wellness.
In plain terms:
I listen and ask questions, offer tools, sit with you through the pain, and honour how far you’ve come.
-
I work with individuals (18+) who may be experiencing big emotions, hopelessness, or feeling like they don’t know who they are anymore.
New parents struggling with stress, grief, anxiety, or depression
Adults who are feeling unmet in their relationships (this might look like seeking a lot of reassurance, frequent miscommunication, anxiety and avoidance, or difficulty setting boundaries)
Individuals consumed by grief whether through the loss of a loved one, a pet, a job, or future hopes and dreams
Folks struggling with the trauma of infertility, infant loss or miscarriage, or a traumatic birth
Anyone who feels like they are “not enough”–you are enough for me.
Anyone feeling lost in their self-identity or self-esteem.
