The 4500 Walk is proudly presented by Leroy & Leroy and Ashley Foster, CEO of Fernweh Wellness. Together, we are bridging the gap between community awareness and professional support, walking to ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.
4500: That’s not just a number, it’s a neighbour, a friend, a family member.
Our first stop is Calgary, Alberta.

In Canada, approximately 4,500 people die by suicide every year… that is roughly 13 people every single day. That number increases and decreases year by year. But that’s not just a number; that was a person, a life. And for every life lost, there are countless families, friends, and colleagues left behind in the wake of the silence. The 4500 Walk is our way of breaking that silence. We walk to remember those we’ve lost, to support those who are struggling, and to ensure that no one has to navigate the darkness alone.

The 4500 Walk is more than just a memorial; it is a community in motion. We need your footsteps, your voice, and your heart to make an impact. Here is how you can stand with us:
Register to Walk: Join us on the pavement. Whether you walk the full distance or just a few steps, your presence is a powerful statement against the silence.
Volunteer Your Time: From route marshals to water station helpers or entertainment for the after-event, it takes a village to keep this walk moving safely.
Spread the Word: Share our mission on social media. Use the hashtag #The4500Walk to help us reach those who might be suffering in silence.
