Ashleyβs Primary Areas of Focus:
-
Stepping away from a high-control religious environment isn't just a change of beliefβ¦ itβs an overhaul of your entire reality. When a system relies on fear, shame, absolute authority, or unquestioned compliance, leaving can feel like losing your community, your safety net, and your sense of self all at once. Even long after you've physically walked away, the lingering echoes of guilt, hypervigilance, and internalized fear can make trusting your own instincts feel impossible.
Ashley provides a safe, grounded space to untangle the psychological weight of spiritual abuse and coercive control. Without imposing new dogmas or forcing a specific path forward, she helps you:
Reclaim your autonomy: Unpack internalized shame, fear-based conditioning, and rigid expectations so you can finally make decisions on your own terms.
Soothe your nervous system: Work through the body-level anxiety, guilt, and hypervigilance that often persist after leaving high-demand groups.
Rebuild from the ground up: Navigate spiritual deconstruction and reconstruction, giving you the freedom to choose what you believe, and who you want to become.
-
Every now and then, life hands us an experience that defies logic⦠a moment of uncanny timing, an altered state, or a encounter with the unexplained that forever shifts how we see the world. While these occurrences can be profound, trying to hold them alone often feels lonely, disorienting, and heavy.
Ashleyβs practice offers a safe landing pad for non-ordinary experiences. Instead of rushing to label or explain away what occurred, she walks alongside you to hold space for the mystery while helping you rebuild your centre.
Together, you will focus on:
De-stigmatizing the strange: Unpack non-ordinary events with a therapist who listens with curiosity rather than skepticism.
Processing the shift: Navigate the quiet identity crisis that often follows a sudden rupture in your beliefs or worldview.
Landed integration: Turn an extraordinary moment into practical, meaningful growth that serves your daily life
